Hey Beautiful,
Yesterday, along with millions of others, I experienced a total eclipse. It was AWE-MAZING! A moment that I will always remember. I sensed God’s presence. I sensed calmness and peace. It felt serene even if it was but for a moment.
One minute in the presence of the Almighty is enough to satisfy. It makes sense all the “fuss.” Millions upon millions of eyes looked toward the sky waiting on heaven to perform, and I had a front row seat in the comfort of my own backyard with the dog barking, and my daughter sitting next to me.
When I tried to share the experience with my husband I was suddenly overcome by emotion. I knew in part it had to do with the recent passing of my mom. Knowing that she is in heaven with God, and then to watch God in real time as He directed the earth, the sun, and moon into perfect alignment felt like a peak into what mom is experiencing right now in eternity. It was also a reminder of His love and willingness to direct our steps.
