It's Time To Roar Back

Hey Victorious,
I pray that this email finds you in motion—not stagnant, doubting, insecure, or scared, but moving those ideas and goals toward the finish line.
This past weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend and speak at a women’s event here in the Dallas, TX area.
If I had to describe the experience in one word, it would be: WOW!
Why?
Because of how IGNITED I felt when it was over. The triumphant stories. The interactions. The messages that went forth with such conviction.
I had no doubt that God's presence was in the room.
And the message was clear:
Stop waiting and start executing what you know to do.
It fanned the flame that had already been burning within me—not only to start, but to finish what I start.
One of the reminders that stood out to me was:
“God deposits it, but we have to develop it.”
We have to learn.
We have to take action.
We have to practice.
And then there was the compass illustration.
What good is a compass if you aren't going to follow its direction?
In other words, what good is asking God for direction and wisdom if we aren't going to follow what He says?
I am guilty as charged.
I have:
prayed for an answer,
received the answer,
lacked the confidence to execute the answer, and
procrastinated as if I had never received the answer.
Procrastination doesn't void the assignment. It only delays fulfillment.
“Fulfillment is the reward.” Think about it.
The biggest impact for me came from Ms. Beverly Hairgrow when she said: “I pray that a fresh fire come on your voices. It's time to use your voice. Don't be worried about how you sound. What you look like. What you've been through. Take your life back. Get your ROAR back.”
That spoke directly to me:
Get out of your own way.
Stop scrutinizing and belittling your gifts.
ROAR back at the doubt. ROAR back at the insecurity. ROAR back at the fear.
Because those things are trying to disrupt your development.
Ladies, I believe there are many things inside of each of us—YES, that means YOU!—waiting to be developed, expressed, completed, and released.
So I'm asking you, better yet, I'm imploring you:START what you ALREADY know you should be doing. This is your opportune time to get it going.
Leave the excuses behind. GO. NOW.
What step do you ALREADY know you need to take?
And maybe the bigger question is: What will you regret not doing?
Start it. Develop it. Execute it. Finish it.
Until next time, I will be praying yours, and I hope you are praying mine.
See you at the finish line,
Tammy D ,
Your Project Manager

LET'S PRAY!
Dear God,
Thank You for every seed You have planted within us—the ideas, dreams, gifts, and assignments You have placed in our hearts.
Help us recognize this Kairos moment and not allow fear, doubt, insecurity, excuses, or procrastination to keep us from moving.
Give us the wisdom to cultivate what we start, the patience to allow it time to grow, and the discipline to keep tending to it even when we cannot yet see the harvest.
Give us the courage to start today and the perseverance to finish what we start.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
