When Stevie Wonder sang the lyrics, “Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she wonderful?” He must have been referring to Dr. Michele Reid, so to answer Stevie’s question… Yes! She is lovely… and wonderful!  She also has a PhD in Holistic Nutrition, Masters of Science in Kinesiology, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  Need I go on? She is a former track and field athlete, fitness competitor and fitness model. She has competed among the best athletes, and have graced the magazine covers of Energy, and Muscle and Fitness HERS. But, despite it all Dr. Michele Reid possesses a spirit of humility, love, and true compassion for helping others reach optimal health.

a woman who is fierce, focused, and not to mention…very fit.  And if  I may add another ‘F word,’ it would be flygirl, because in my opinion she meets the urban definition: A sexy chic with a swag all her own; confident. A girl who knows what she wants and goes for it!

 "I WAS SO ASHAMED OF THE WAY I LOOKED I COVERED MY HEAD EVEN WHEN I WAS AT HOME." My battle with Alopecia began in 2007 when I noticed a patch of hair missing from my head. It was small, so I didn't pay it much attention. But, then it became bigger and more noticeable.  I went to a dermatologist who diagnosed me with Alopecia Areata, which is an autoimmune skin disease resulting in hair loss, and possible baldness. It usually starts with one or more small, round, smooth patches on the scalp and progresses from there. Oftentimes, Alopecia is triggered by stress, and I was definitely under a lot of stress! At the time I was battling  with my husband’s on-again, off-again addiction to heroin

Tera Davis-Adams might be a Navy Veteran, but her most life-threatening battle had nothing to do with guns, or fighting off enemy attacks. Inside of her body was a silent killer that had been secretly lurking and hiding itself in her joints and organs going undetected by medical examinations, and the expert knowledge of the doctors. Before she knew it… she was ambushed.  

If you know Shundra Henton, then you know her zeal for life!  She has a genuine love and kindness toward others.  She has no problem opening her home or her kitchen to friends and family. She is known to host great parties with delicious eats! I had her cooking, and all I can say is… those lamb chops was taaaasty.
